- Conceptual Teaching & Problem-Solving: Skilled at breaking down regression modeling, data visualization design, and optimization problem formulation. Guides students through cleaning and preparing data sets, building predictive models, creating meaningful dashboards, interpreting analytics output for business stakeholders, and making data-driven recommendations. Emphasizes translating technical analysis into actionable business insights and connects analytics to marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain applications.
- Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with business analytics curricula and common challenges such as transitioning from spreadsheets to analytics tools, interpreting model output correctly, and communicating findings to non-technical audiences. Adapts instruction using Excel, Tableau, Python, or R with real business data sets and case studies to support undergraduate and MBA students developing analytical capabilities for modern business environments.
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
