What You’ll Do
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to homeowners while delivering expert heating and air conditioning services.
- Diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential heating and air conditioning systems
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair furnaces, central air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless mini-split systems, boilers, and related HVAC equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and identify opportunities to improve system safety, efficiency, performance, and reliability
- Educate homeowners on repair, maintenance, indoor air quality, and replacement options and provide clear recommendations based on their needs
- Present solutions professionally and help customers make informed decisions regarding their home's comfort systems
- Complete all required documentation, invoices, estimates, photos, and job notes accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, inventory, and equipment in a clean and professional manner
- Follow all safety procedures, company standards, and local mechanical codes
- Deliver a "Best of Long Island" customer experience on every call

Skills & Requirements
- 3 years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential heating and air conditioning systems and diagnostics
- Experience servicing and troubleshooting furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems
- Experience servicing and troubleshooting boilers preferred
- Have or be willing to get proper certifications (e.g. EPA Universal Certification)
- Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment efficiently and accurately
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a service route
- Ability to use mobile technology, dispatch software, and digital job documentation
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
