What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Administrator position at Varmoda?
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of Salesforce orgs (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Government Cloud, or Public Sector Solutions)
- Handle user setup, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security models
- Build and maintain Flows, validation rules, approval processes, and automation (migrating legacy Workflow Rules/Process Builder to Flow where applicable)
- Manage data quality: imports, exports, deduplication, and Data Loader/Data Import Wizard operations
- Support release management: evaluate Salesforce seasonal releases (Spring/Summer/Winter) for impact and opportunity
- Configure and maintain dashboards, reports, and list views for stakeholders
- Administer AppExchange package installations and updates
- Provide Tier 1/2 end-user support and training
- Document system configurations and maintain a change log for audit/compliance purposes (important for federal clients)
- 2 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (current/active)
- Strong working knowledge of Flow Builder (Screen Flows, Record-Triggered Flows)
- Experience with security models: OWD, roles, sharing rules, permission sets/permission set groups
- Familiarity with a recent Salesforce release (2025–2026 releases preferred) — we want to hear what's new that you've already implemented
- U.S. Citizenship [adjust if required for federal contract]
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
- Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or Public Sector Solutions
- Exposure to Einstein/Agentforce features (Agentforce for Service, Einstein Copilot Actions)
- Experience supporting federal or highly regulated environments
- Prior experience on a GSA/federal contract vehicle
