Title: Production Assembly Technician
Location: Barrington, IL 60010
Duration: 0–5 Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $21.00/Hour (W2)
Position Summary:
Electro-mechanical assembly role in a manufacturing environment. Requires ability to read blueprints, bills of materials, and calibration specs, with strong mechanical aptitude to build and test products. Must be dependable, adaptable, and willing to cross-train across multiple production areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build electro-mechanical assemblies using blueprints, BOMs, and calibration specs
- Rotate and work in different production cells
- Ensure quality, attendance, and productivity standards
- Perform light material handling tasks as needed
- Identify and report potential safety concerns
- Perform other assigned duties
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of electro-mechanical assembly experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Skilled in soldering, blueprint reading, and calibration specs
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently or in teams with minimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs. with assistance
- Proficient interaction with engineering, warehouse, and quality teams
- Beginning to intermediate PC skills preferred
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and ability to meet deadlines
