Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled painter with a strong emphasis in drywall and stucco repair to join our team. This role involves supporting a variety of construction projects while specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, and experienced in both general construction tasks and plumbing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interior and exterior painting (walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets)
- Proper surface prep (patching, sanding, caulking, masking, priming)
- Rolling, brushing, and spraying (airless sprayer experience preferred)
- Protecting work areas and keeping job sites clean
- Erect scaffolding, movable and immovable staging and various rigging to gain access to difficult areas; moves furniture and equipment as necessary
- Remove fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, lamps, and electric switch covers prior to painting.
- Working on residential remodel projects, new construction and commercial
- Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades on-site
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years of construction experience with a focus on plumbing
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Familiarity with safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Valid driver’s license
