VARITE is looking for a qualified Linux Systems Engineer for one of its clients located in Boise ID Onsite.

Job Details: Linux Systems Engineer
Location: Boise ID Onsite
Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate Range: $35.71 - 36.76/hr.

Job Details:

• At least 3- 5 years managing enterprise RedHat Unix/Linux solutions, preferably large scale
• Strong scripting skills(Shell, Python, etc.)
• Deep knowledge and experience supporting RHEL 8 & 9
• Proficient with LDAP configuration and management
• Experience with virtualization (vmware)
• Hands on experience with computer hardware maintenance
• Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Strong drive for continuous improvement
• Indepth knowledge of Redhat Kickstart and configuration management tools (puppet preferred)
• Proven skills in automating systems services and tasks to streamline service and ensure consistency
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems
• Experience supporting servers in the cloud preferred
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)
• Strong skills in decision making, prioritization and negotiation
• Passion and accountability for the environment you will be responsible for
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
