Job Title: Business Analyst 3
Location: Remote - Prefer PST. Flexibility on scheduled days and hours. Would like to have 5 days coverage.
Contract Duration: 12 months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate Range: $50.00 - $57.39/hr. on W2
Schedule: Part-time 20 hours a week
Work Authorization: Only USC or GC (No sponsorship or C2C or student’s visa)
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
- We are seeking a highly capable Business Analyst to support and optimize ****'s Talent Acquisition technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday Recruiting.
- This role goes beyond traditional requirements gathering and testing—acting as a strategic partner to Global Talent Acquisition Operations (GTAO) to drive system integrity, scalability, and operational excellence.
- The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise in recruiting, basic Workday configuration and strong testing capabilities, and the ability to drive accountability across stakeholders while improving processes and data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements & Solution Design:
- Lead discovery and design sessions to ensure GTAO has cleary defined business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Perform impact analysis across Workday Recruiting and downstream integrations to ensure changes are scalable and do not introduce risk
- Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including development of test strategy, plans, scenarios, and scripts
- Own QA execution and defect management, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues
- Partner wiht GTAO to support and facilitiate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring business requirements are fully validated
- Perform basic configuration within Workday Recruiting, including:
- Business processe modifications
- Notifications, alerts, and questionnaires
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
Skills: Core Skills & Experience Required
Functional & Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Workday Recruiting testing required
- Basic experience with Workday Recruiting configuration required
- Deep understanding of end-to-end recruiting processes and workflows
- Experience with QA/UAT methodologies and defect management
- Ability to perform system impact analysis across integrations and downstream processes
- Strong ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and recommend scalable solutions
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and system integrity
- Comfortable working with complex scenarios and incomplete information
- Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong communication skills—able to translate technical concepts into clear business language
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting business needs
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Strong customer orientation balanced with enforcing process and system discipline
Tools & Technology:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Experience working with HR systems, integrations, and SaaS platforms
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, and analysis

- High-quality, defect-free releases, delivered on time
- Reduced manual rework and data inconsistencies
- Clear, scalable solutions that support long-term TA strategy
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in HRIS, HR Technology, or Business Systems Analysis roles
- Direct experience working with Workday Recruiting, including configuration, testing, and support
- Translate business requirements into system solutions
- Lead UAT/QA testing and manage defects
- Support system implementations or enhancements
- Experience partnering with HR, Recruiting, or Talent Acquisition teams to improve processes and system
