What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist (RT) position at Various Medical Equipment Providers?
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the team! You’ll provide in-home respiratory therapy and clinical support to patients using ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other advanced equipment. This is a fill-time contracted schedule position covering the greater Fort Dodge, IA area.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-home patient assessments and provide clinical education on respiratory equipment.
- Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment to ensure optimal function.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions.
- Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care for respiratory patients.
- Participate in on-call rotations and drive a vehicle for home visits (as needed).
- Support training and orientation of new clinical staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Respiratory or DME experience preferred
- Licensed Raspatory Therapist
- Strong patient communication skills
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per week
