What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service (Part-time) 25-26 position at Various Locations?
The Utica Community Schools Food & Nutrition Services department has multiple substitute food service opportunities with part-time hours ranging from two (2) to five and one half (5.5) per day.
The Food Service Sub position will provide training and opportunities for further part and full time positions within the Food Service Department.
Reports To: Director of Food and Nutrition Services or designee.
Requirements:
- Prior food service experience preferred
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Possess the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects with assistance from others
- Bending, pushing and pulling will be required
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Must be able to work in cold and warm temperature environments for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and able to take direction from others
- Must enjoy working with students of all ages
- Prefer work availability from 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Wage: Starting $14.75/hour
