What are the responsibilities and job description for the Anticipated Library Media Specialist position at Various Locations?
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in library/media studies from an accredited institution
- Hold a New Jersey School Library Media Specialist certificate
- Demonstrates strong classroom management by creating a positive, respectful environment where students are engaged and expectations are clear
- Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of library media services.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
- Effectively integrates technology into instruction to support student learning and information literacy.
- Demonstrate proficiency with digital tools, library management systems, and educational software to enhance access to resources.
- Supports staff and students in using technology responsibly and creatively for research, collaboration, and presentations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
- Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
