Specialized Experience: Must have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service (or comparable level of experience from outside the Federal service) performing at least 3 of the 4 following duties:
- Performing financial analysis or support activities by reviewing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assisting in budget formulation and execution processes by tracking expenditures to support financial planning.
- Applying basic financial management principles and regulations by processing financial transactions to resolve discrepancies.
- Providing customer service and support by communicating financial information to stakeholders.

Education: Successfully completed master's or equivalent graduate degree, or two full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or LL.B. or J.D. degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, economics, or other directly-related fields that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Combination of Education and Experience: Combination of the specialized experience and graduate education described above. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate-level education in excess of one year (18 semester hours) may be combined with specialized experience.
