What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Pool and water treatment Repair Technician position at Variety Water Services?
We are a Pool & Water maintenance company based in Longwood, FL. We serve the greater Orlando/Central Florida area. We have been in business since 2004 and our reputation speaks for itself.
We are looking for potential candidates to join our growing team. This candidate should have a minimum of 5 years pool and water treatment repair experience. Great customer service skills a must. The typical workweek is Monday-Friday hours as needed (although an occasional Saturday may be required according to the work flow).
Valid U.S. Driver License Required! (Prior to job offer, providing a copy of your DMV report may be requested)
YOU MUST HAVE A Minimum of 5 years experience VERIFIABLE Pool Repairs and Water Treatment system repairs.
Pay commensurate with experience. Starting rate based on verified experience and increase intervals based on proven experience and quality of work
Qualified candidates should be expected to:
- Have the knowledge and ability to manage self and others as needed in a professional and organized manner.
- Manage their time efficiently and complete assigned tasks/repairs.
- Ensure your task and other employees as assigned, tasks are being completed timely and efficiently.
- Have experience diagnosing and repairing pool, softener, and well equipment including installs and plumbing of multiple pieces of equipment pertaining to pools, wells, and water treatment equipment.
- Have the ability to train others.
- Have the ability to diagnose issues with equipment and repairs that are needed.
- Be able to think critically and problem solve when issues arise.
- Communicate professionally and proficiently with customers and employee via phone or in-person.
- Have the ability to lift 30 pounds on a daily basis.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining proper safety protocol.
- Represent the company by maintaining a clean and organized truck and person
- Be a team player and communicate well with the owner/, managers and supervisors.
- Provide great customer service to our clients and always represent the company in a professional manner.
- Be able to operate handheld equipment and track repairs needed and completed.
- Be willing to learn and grow with the company.
