Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include:
- Lead CNC milling application development and process design
- Develop and optimize tube forming, assembly, and secondary manufacturing processes
- Own manufacturing and quality performance within the assigned value stream
- Identify trends, defects, and process improvement opportunities
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues
- Support new product introductions, process validation, and APQP activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline
- 5 years of manufacturing or quality engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with CNC milling process development and manufacturing problem solving
- Working knowledge of APQP and quality tools such as Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis
