Responsibilities
The Logistics Manager will oversee logistics, materials, and warehouse operations to support production goals and customer requirements:
- Manage supply chain and logistics operations
- Coordinate production schedules, inventory levels, and material flow
- Monitor logistics KPIs and operational performance metrics
- Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities
- Ensure effective organization of warehouse inventory and work-in-process (WIP)
- Support ERP system accuracy and utilization across logistics functions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process compliance
- Develop, train, and mentor logistics team members
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and purchasing teams
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- 8 years of relevant logistics, materials, or supply chain experience within manufacturing environments
- Previous automotive or Tier 1 manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Experience with inventory management, warehouse operations, and production scheduling
- ERP system experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
