Delivery Driver (Independent Contractor)

Vargas Courier and Logistics LLC is seeking reliable and Professional Independent On-Call Couriers to join our growing network in the Visalia area

As an Independent On-Call Courier, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of various items to our clients. This is an on-call position, with delivery opportunities becoming available as needed by our customers. This flexible arrangement is ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations. Maintain clear communication with dispatch and clients (when necessary).Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Maintain the professionalism and reputation of Vargas Courier and Logistics LLC.

Requirements:

• Must possess your own reliable Cargo Van and/or Box Truck.
• Operate a vehicle to transport goods to various locations as per delivery schedules.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring safety and accuracy during handling.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for efficient loading and unloading processes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (100 lbs) and manage physical demands of the job.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while managing time effectively.

WE ARE CURRENTLY ONLY SEEKING CARGO VAN AND BOX TRUCK DRIVERS WHO ARE LOOKING FOR WORK IN THE MORNINGS

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Proof of vehicle insurance.

Ability to use a smartphone or other mobile device for communication and navigation

Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality and situational awareness.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

You will be using your own cargo van or box truck.

WE ARE CURRENTLY ONLY SEEKING CARGO VAN AND BOX TRUCK DRIVERS WHO ARE LOOKING FOR WORK IN THE MORNINGS (5am -12pm) IN Visalia , AND WILLING TO TAKE DELIVERIES AROUND THE SURROUNDING AREA, INCLUDING FRESNO AND BAKERSFIELD

Compensation:

Pay rate per job fluctuates based on the specifics of each delivery (e.g., distance, size, urgency). The larger the load, longer the distance, and more urgent the need from our customers, the bigger pay per delivery.
