About This Role
Summer internships will range between the months of May and August. All dates dependent upon the university schedule of the selected students. Internships are full-time and on-site in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities
- Operate as an integrated member of Varda's Mission Management team
- Support mission managers in preparation of major contractual reviews or deliverables, such as critical design reviews, coordinating technical content and analysis across relevant disciplines
- Support sales team with proposal efforts to ensure new projects are appropriately scoped, executable, and aligned with strategic company vision
- Collaborate with engineering groups to understand vehicle readiness and how changes impact requirements, vehicle risk, CONOPs, and flight dates
- Create high quality materials and briefings to communicate program status, execution plans, risks, and schedule to external customers
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with project management
- Experience with hardware development projects
- Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred Skills And Experience

Experience working on cross-discipline technical problems

Familiarity with regulatory compliance
- Experience with Aerospace, or other complex, operations
- Previous internship or co-op experience
- Previous experience on technical project teams (i.e. Cubesat projects, Solar Car, Formula SAE, etc.)
