We are looking for a caring and motivated Community Liaison to represent Varco Hospice throughout the Southwest Texas region and build meaningful connections with healthcare providers and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the face of Varco Hospice, promoting our mission and services with compassion and professionalism.
- Develop and nurture relationships with referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centers, and community organizations.
- Conduct educational visits, in-services, and community presentations to raise awareness about hospice services.
- Identify new referral opportunities and help expand patient census in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate closely with clinical and intake teams to ensure smooth admissions and consistent communication with partners.
- Participate in community outreach events, health fairs, and professional meetings to enhance visibility and trust.
- Maintain accurate logs of marketing activities, referrals, and conversion outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in healthcare marketing, business development, or community outreach (Hospice or Home Health preferred).
- Compassionate communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of hospice philosophy, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance guidelines preferred.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently in the field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
