Position : Data Validation Intern - Odia
Location: Work From Home
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day data validation for Biochar and ARR projects
- Cross-verify data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability
- Review and validate land records across different states, ensuring correctness of ownership and classification details
- Identify inconsistencies, missing values, and errors in datasets, and take corrective actions
- Maintain high standards of data quality by following defined SOPs and validation frameworks
- Work with large datasets using MS Excel or Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, etc.)
- Maintain proper documentation of validation processes and findings
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Uphold data confidentiality and security standards.
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Agriculture or related fields.
- Ability to validate data in a consistent, structured, and disciplined manner
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) or Google Sheets
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks with focus and consistency
- Proficiency in Odia and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory
- Basic knowledge of GIS or mapping tools
- Familiarity with data cleaning and preprocessing techniques
- Exposure to carbon projects, sustainability, or climate-related domains
- Understanding of Indian land record systems and digitization platforms
