Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Aurora, IL, for a Design Project Manager. The Design Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of design projects, from initial concept through execution and delivery. Key responsibilities include coordinating with clients, managing timelines and budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes. The role also involves streamlining communication, providing strategic design solutions, and ensuring all phases of a project adhere to established goals and standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Project Management, including budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Proficiency in Design Software such as Archicad, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools, and familiarity with 3D rendering techniques
- Strong Communication and Leadership skills to manage and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams
- Experience in Procurement, Vendor Coordination, and overseeing construction documentation
- Ability to solve complex design challenges and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in interior design for commercial projects is highly advantageous
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
