Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting shoppers with their needs. Your primary responsibilities will include engaging customers, demonstrating products, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized and inviting retail environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced store setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
• Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure availability and cleanliness
• Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling accurately
• Assist with inventory management including stocking and replenishing items
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Support supervising staff in overseeing daily store operations when needed
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar environments
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
• Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies
• Ability to handle cash handling accurately and responsibly
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
• Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Knowledge of store operations is beneficial
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
