Our company provides sanitation products to military customers operating on five military installations nationwide. Our focus is to provide our customers with the best service and products available in our industry. We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our Buda team. We need a strong and motivated individual who seeks a challenging position with a well-established company.
As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for directing the activities of the base managers and drivers in order to provide safe, effective and courteous portable toilet service to our customers. Some of the duties are listed below but are subject to change at any time.
⬧ Maintain a good repour with all contract POC’s, COR’s and or KO’s
⬧ 10-20% travel is required which includes quarterly base visits and evaluations
⬧ Ensure adherence to all accident prevention programs, safety and environmental standards
⬧ Establish productivity goals while adhering to operating standards
⬧ Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to base managers and drivers
⬧ Assist base managers with hiring, firing and disciplinary actions
⬧ Monitor driver time and attendance while minimizing over time
⬧ Review and modify routes to maximize and improve efficiency
⬧ Monitor fleet maintenance to ensure equipment is not being abused or neglected
⬧ Ensure that operations stay within budget especially with vehicle and trailer repairs
⬧ Responsible for vehicle titles and registrations
⬧ Review probe tracking reports and missed service reports daily
⬧ Review credit card statements and fuel expense reports
⬧ Assist with phones, order checking and running schedules
⬧ Be responsible for our “on call” operational rotation every 4 weeks in the evenings and weekends as needed (remotely)
This is a Monday thru Friday position, hours are negotiable. We provide Vacation Accrual at 2 weeks per year, 3 sick days per year. Professional, friendly, and business casual dress work environment.
Salary based on experience starting 70K
Qualifications & Skills required for the position are as follows.
- 4 years operational experience required
- Time management & Decision-making skills
- Problem solving capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented & able to multi-task
- Great computer knowledge and experience in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Enjoy a fast-paced atmosphere & able to work under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated
Must be able to pass a background check, driving record check and drug test.
