About This Opportunity
The Operator I will produce machined parts by safely operating a computer numeric control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and continuous improvement, interpreting blueprints, dimension, tolerances and producing high quality components to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
- Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and specifications.
- Maintain logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
- Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Follow ISO 9001/ISO 13845 ANSI/AAMI/ISO standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year experience utilizing a personal or business computer.
- Minimum three years of verifiable work history.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work for prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
