Vantaggio HR's client, ERG Aerospace Corporation, is looking for a dynamic and collaborative HR Director who will leverage hands-on human resources experience and strong business acumen to manage the HR needs of our multi-state organization. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building an organization that values attention to detail, smart goal management, legal compliance and key performance indicators. ERG Aerospace Corporation is a mid-sized manufacturing company that was founded in 1967. The Company is family owned and headquartered in Sparks, Nevada with manufacturing facilities in both Nevada and California. ERG supplies metal, carbon, and ceramic foam to aerospace, defense, semiconductor, biomedical and scientific industry customers. Given our attractive product portfolio, deep technical and manufacturing expertise, and dynamic market segments, we have a significant opportunity to enhance our human resource support function.


The Human Resources Director is a key leader who reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s human capital strategy. This role oversees all HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.


This position offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation package including a base salary of $100,000-135,000, a 401K plan with a match, Health Insurance, Dental and Vision.

This position is full-time and required to report onsite daily at the corporate office in Sparks, NV.


Responsibilities include:

  • Hands-on execution and oversight of the daily operations and strategic direction of the HR department, coaching and developing leaders across the organization.
  • Partners with the executive team to develop and implement HR and talent strategies that support organizational goals, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Provides expert guidance and support to senior management on complex, sensitive, and high-impact HR issues.
  • Directs the talent acquisition strategy for all levels, with a focus on leadership and critical roles; collaborates with department heads to forecast and fulfill talent needs.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; regularly reviews and updates policies to maintain best practices and legal compliance.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in HR and talent management.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Commitment to professional conduct and company values.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
