Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant’s primary role is to support the Advisor and provide outstanding customer service to all clients. Experience in the field is preferred, although not required.
Responsibilites
- Provide exceptional service to all of our clients
- Maintain files and records in the client database
- Schedule client appointments and confirm them prior to the appointment date
- Processing and following up on business
- Accurately complete and forward the necessary paperwork aFer a sale
- Become proficient in all necessary computer applica ons used for our client database
- Screen all Advisor phone calls and handle each call appropriately
- Assist in problem resolution and act as the Advisor liaison with various First Command business partners, as well as the Home Office
- Keep Advisor and team members informed regarding pending business, production and progress
- Process incoming correspondence, mail and email
- Perform other duties as requested by the Advisor
Requirements
- Self-motivated
- Critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail a must
- Proficient computer skills
- Demonstrates problem solving ability
- 1 to 2 years general office experience preferred
- Personable, comfortable engaging clients as a regular part of daily duties
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with various computer applications such as MS Word and Excel
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Satisfactory completion of background check and fingerprinting
- Must be able to perform a clerical exam at a high level with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent life experiences
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
