About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP/Laravel Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications while contributing to the architecture of scalable backend systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

•          Design, develop, test, and deploy complex web applications using the Laravel framework and custom plugins in the WordPress ecosystem

•          Architect and implement efficient, scalable, and secure backend systems and RESTful APIs

•          Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices

•          Participate in code reviews and cross testing, providing constructive feedback to other developers

•          Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues and performance bottlenecks

•          Manage databases (MySQL) and optimize queries for maximum efficiency

•          Assist in the management of Linux servers and Azure infrastructure

•          Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in PHP and Laravel development and suggest improvements to the existing tech stack

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

8 years of PHP development with a strong focus on the Laravel framework

Technical Expertise

•          Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework, including MVC architecture and OOP principles

•          Expertise in the WordPress CMS, including building custom plugins and managing and optimizing WordPress installations

•          Strong knowledge of relational database systems (primarily MySQL) and Eloquent ORM

•          Understanding of RESTful APIs

•          Proficiency in frontend technologies: JavaScript, Vue, Livewire, HTML, CSS, and CSS Frameworks

•          Experience with version control systems (primarily Git)

•          Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies

•          Experience with Linux system administration

•          Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management in Azure is a plus
