Duties and responsibilities:
- The new neurologist will manage a maximum of 15 patients per day, ensuring ample time for quality care with up to 45 minutes allocated per patient.
- Perform neurological exams to diagnose conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests: EMGs required; EEGs desired but not necessary.
- Prescribe medication and evaluate its effectiveness.
- Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions and management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure holistic care.
Minimum qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification in Neurology with EMG experience.
- Neurophysiology/Neuromuscular Fellowship preferred, but not necessary.
- Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are warmly welcomed, although it’s not a requirement.
- New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, and we also invite physicians currently completing their fellowship to consider this opportunity.
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license or willingness to obtain one.
