Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Respond to network alerts and incidents.
- Configure and maintain network devices.
- Implement network changes and upgrades.
- Ensure network security.
- Maintain accurate network documentation.
- Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet.
- Proficiency in network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
