Vantage Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation is a therapist owned and operated outpatient practice with 10 locations throughout the Johnstown area.
With over 30 years of success, we pride ourselves in the strong relationships we have in the communities we reside and with the patients we have served. We are looking for a Medical Secretary/Physical Therapy Aide to support our outpatient clinic.
Responsibilities
- Receive and assist patients as needed
- Maintain detailed patient and medical records
- Manage office communications (e.g. phone, correspondence)
- Schedule Physical Therapy appointments
- Work with insurance companies to process claims
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist with patient care as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Prepare rooms for treatment by cleaning them and restocking needed supplies.
- Perform basic care tasks for patients
- Perform routine equipment maintenance tasks
Skills
- Proven experience as a medical secretary/Physical Therapy Adie or similar field.
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping
- Outstanding communication skills
- Patience and discretion
- Organizational and multitasking skills
- High school diploma; additional training in Medical Administration is a plus.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
