Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and operating CNC machines, with a focus on precision and quality. Duties
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for various machining processes using Fanuc controls.
- Operate CNC lathes, mills, UMC's, and other machinery to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in production.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain product standards.
- Collaborate with other team members ensure seamless integration of machined parts prior to the customer receiving.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machine operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and basic math skills for accurate measurements.
- Experience with CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc systems, is highly desirable.
- Experience with CAD/CAM packages, DNC Systems, and Networking equipment.
- Strong understanding of quality control practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools and other machinery as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
