We are seeking a part-time Medical Director to provide physician leadership and clinical oversight for a long-term care facility in Warren, Ohio. The schedule is 1–2 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the facility's attending physician leader and oversee resident medical care
- Develop, review and approve clinical policies, procedures and care protocols
- Take part in QAPI, infection control and pharmacy/therapeutics committees
- Work with the Administrator, Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team on resident outcomes
- Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness under CMS and Ohio requirements
- Act as a clinical resource for attending physicians, nurse practitioners and nursing staff
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Ohio medical license
- Long-term care experience required
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatrics preferred
- Available 1–2 days per week on site
