Home Equity Representative

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintain knowledge of and adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations. 
• Complete all necessary paperwork to ensure loans are processed and follow-up is done in a timely manner.
• Order all required third party services such as Valuation, Flood and Title. Review and prepare all checklists as required for these services.
• Prepare and ensure appropriate liens are placed and subordinations processed as required.
• Conduct post close loan reviews for accuracy within department guidelines and policies.
• Supports and assists area personnel, members, branch staff, and other departments as needed.
• Communicates and coordinates with borrowers throughout the application process as needed.
• Maintain department expected SLAs.
• Performs miscellaneous clerical functions as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Consumer Lending Manager or Director of Lending.

KNOWLEDGE

• Understanding of home equity loan products and services.
• Knowledge of home equity processing functions and related processes.
• Knowledge of Credit Union loan policies, procedures, products, processing, and guidelines.
• Understanding of applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• The individual should have 1 years of experience of loan processing experience in a consumer lending role, preferably within a credit union.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position requires the following physical activities within varying environmental conditions:

• Occasionally remaining in a stationary position which may be standing or sitting for a prolonged period.
• Occasional travel or moving from one office location to another or from one department to another at the headquarters building.
• Occasional lifting, moving, or adjusting objects up to 20 pounds.
• Constant communication with others through various channels including verbal, email, and chat of which the last two may require consistent use of a keyboard and mouse or another electronic device.
• Work will be in a commercially reasonable temperature-controlled environment.
• Occasional temporary exterior site review which could be in outdoor elements of wind, rain, or snow.

Salary : $18 - $23
