Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures
- Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure effective patient care
Experience:
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in occupational health, inpatient, pediatrics, acute care, and outpatient settings is beneficial
This position requires a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Pay: $33.89 - $36.88 per hour
