Role Description The Sales Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Franklin, TN, responsible for supporting store leadership in driving sales performance and delivering an excellent customer experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming and engaging customers, identifying their needs, and providing product knowledge to support informed purchasing decisions. The Sales Lead helps execute visual merchandising standards, maintains a clean and organized sales floor, and monitors inventory levels to ensure product availability. This role supports training and coaching of team members on sales techniques, customer service best practices, and brand values, while modeling consistent adherence to policies and procedures. The Sales Lead also assists with opening and closing tasks, basic reporting, and supports promotional activities to meet or exceed sales goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to drive store performance, meet targets, and support leadership in executing sales strategies.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to help onboard, guide, and coach team members on product knowledge and selling standards.
- Candidates should demonstrate retail or related sales experience, preferably in apparel, footwear, or lifestyle brands.
- Candidates should have the ability to work on-site in Franklin, TN, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Candidates should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and basic math and POS system proficiency.
- Knowledge of skateboarding, streetwear culture, or Vans products is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional education in business, marketing, or related fields is an advantage.
