What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver-Tire Warehouse position at Vans Tire Pros?
Van's Auto Service & Tire Pros is GROWING! We are currently looking for a delivery driver/warehouse associate at our Mogadore location. We need a well organized and self motivated employee to help deliver tires to our customers . Must be able to lift 25- to 50-pound items on a regular basis, as you will be lifting and moving tires daily. We are looking for a long-term employee so a positive attitude and strong work ethic are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver tires to various locations.
- Load and unload tires, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and prepare shipments.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety protocols while driving.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor (25-50lbs)
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics
- Experience driving box trucks and commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures, including forklift operation
- Must possess a Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
