Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and personable Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for clients and plays a key part in maintaining smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting—especially during tax season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Greet clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming experience
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff
- Support accountants with general administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain office supplies and assist with general office organization
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative or front desk experience preferred (experience in an accounting or professional services office a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on client service
Schedule:
- Full-time position (Monday–Friday)
- Additional hours may be required during tax season (January–April)
Compensation:
- Pay dependent on experience
