VanMan's is redefining fast casual dining by bringing chef-level quality to the American classic: burgers and fries. We are looking for a highly skilled cook with Michelin-star kitchen experience to help us set the bar for excellence.

Position

• Head Chef (Full Time)

• Compensation: $35 – $40/ hr. (DOE) overtime opportunities

Responsibilities

• Execute menu items to perfection, ensuring quality and consistency.

• Uphold Michelin-level standards of cleanliness, organization, and technique.

• Assist in menu execution, prep, and kitchen systems.

• Maintain proper food safety, handling, and storage practices.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• Contribute creativity and expertise to elevate the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Michelin-starred kitchens or equivalent fine dining.

• Strong grilling, frying, and mise en place skills.

• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency

• Possess a team-oriented mindset

• Current California Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain before hire).
