We’re Hiring: Full-Time Sewing Machine Operators – Join Our Creative Workshop in Portland!
Are you a skilled seamstress or sewing machine operator with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? Our fast-growing, high-end soft goods workshop in Portland is expanding, and we’re looking for experienced, full-time sewing pros to help bring our designs to life—100% designed and manufactured in the USA.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Sewing high-quality automotive window accessories and other custom soft goods using industrial machines
- Working with materials and designs that require care, consistency, and attention to detail
- Supporting a creative, hands-on production process from start to finish
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable and punctual—we depend on each other to keep things running smoothly
- At least 2 years of experience operating industrial sewing machines, bartacks, and related equipment
- Great attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Strong organizational habits and a clean workspace
- Positive, team-first attitude with a strong work ethic
- Able to read and follow work orders, and collaborate with the team in simple English
- Skilled at adjusting and calibrating machines to match different projects
- Physically able to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs during the workday
Bonus Skills (Not Required, but We’d Love to See):
- Experience with boat or car upholstery
- Pattern making or cutting experience
