Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate has a background in sales, cold calling is self motivated/driven to succeed, and thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment. This role will focus on developing new customer accounts, managing existing relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of freight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, and onboard new shipper accounts to grow revenue.
- Manage daily freight operations including quoting, booking, tracking, and scheduling shipments.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and maintain strong carrier relationships.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating proactively with shippers and carriers.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless load execution and problem resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and load activity in CRM/TMS systems.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Freight Broker, Account Executive, or in transportation/logistics sales preferred though not required.
- Sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficient with working online
