Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Clinical Placement Coordination
- Coordinate clinical placements for all nursing programs (BSN, MSN, PMHNP) in collaboration with the BSN Chair, MSN Director, Director of Nursing, and faculty
- Serve as the primary liaison between clinical agencies, faculty, and the university
- Initiate, submit, and manage clinical placement requests with partner agencies, including tracking, follow-up, and confirmation of placements
- Develop and manage clinical schedules, rotations, and placement logistics
- Work with the Director to ensure all clinical placements meet BRN and accreditation requirements
- Ensure compliance with agency requirements, onboarding processes, and clinical standards
- Utilize and manage clinical compliance and tracking systems (e.g., Complio, CastleBranch, or similar platforms)
- Coordinate clinical orientations and placement communications
- Identify and secure alternative placements for displaced students as needed
- Maintain accurate records of clinical hours, placements, and site utilization
- Affiliation Agreement Management
- Lead the initiation, processing, and renewal of all clinical affiliation agreements
- Serve as the primary contact for clinical partners regarding agreements
- Coordinate with university departments (legal and administration) for contract review and execution
- Track agreement timelines, expirations, and renewal schedules
- Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance and site approvals
- Represent Vanguard University professionally in all interactions with clinical partners to support long-term collaboration
- Clinical Partnership Development & Relationship Management
- Monitor agency requirements, feedback, and placement capacity
- Serve as a representative of Vanguard University in interactions with clinical partners
