Adjunct Faculty - Theatre - Dance

POSITION SUMMARY: The Theatre Department seeks applications to teach Thea 103-403: Private Dance Lessons (1 unit).

Essential Functions

• Teach private dance lessons to 1-2 performers at a time. Thirteen sessions at one hour each during the course of each semester.
• Teach dance techniques that cover learning choreography based on an array of techniques such as ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical and tap.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated 3 years of teaching experience or professional training..
• A vibrant Christian faith and commitment to an integration of faith and learning.
  
  

SALARY: Part-time. The following salary range reflects compensation paid for a 3-unit course (144 total hours), and varies based on the faculty member's highest earned degree. Total compensation is based on the number of courses taught and corresponding units for each course.

$3,120 to $3,720 per course

Pastoral reference letter - Pastor or church leader.
