Senior Associate, Project Finance/Origination
High-Growth, Well-Capitalised DG Platform | U.S. Expansion
A rapidly scaling distributed generation platform is strengthening its project finance and origination function as it accelerates growth across the U.S. The team develops a broad mix of behind-the-meter and small front-of-the-meter projects (BESS, Gas, Solar) with the backing of a highly experienced leadership group and ~$500m of committed capital.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in evaluating new opportunities, shaping commercial strategy, and guiding projects from early analysis through investor-ready deliverables. This position offers direct exposure to senior stakeholders, commercial decision-making, and the expansion of a national DG platform.
What You’ll Lead
- Build and refine advanced project financial models and sensitivity cases
- Translate interval data, tariffs, and program rules into clear, investor-ready materials
- Drive pricing strategy, commercial analysis, and key term-sheet support
- Oversee LOIs, interconnection details, and pipeline progression
- Partner closely with internal teams, customers, and investors to validate assumptions and support execution
What You Bring
- 3 years in distributed generation, BTM, BESS, or DG gas
- Strong financial modelling capability with advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience converting tariff-driven and interval data into actionable insights
- A commercially minded approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with increasing autonomy
