Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Manager to lead our residential and/or commercial sales team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the sales process from lead generation to closing, training and mentoring the sales staff, developing strategic plans to drive growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing or construction sales, leadership experience, and a passion for team building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and grow a high-performing sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market presence and drive new business.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company standards.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports using JobNimbus.
- Stay current on roofing products, installation techniques, and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular team meetings, ride-alongs, and performance evaluations.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and effectively to uphold company reputation.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in roofing or construction sales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation processes.
- Proven ability to lead and develop sales teams to achieve consistent results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with JobNimbus and HailTrace
- Highly organized with strong time-management and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or insurance-related roofing sales.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
