BMS Controls + Low Voltage Electrical Apprentice/Helper

We are an electrical company operating in NYC and Texas that specializes in low voltage BMS installations. We do NOT do normal electrical work like power and lighting.

Technical Skills/Duties & Responsibilities Include...

• Knowledge of BMS control system installation
• Knowledge of additional low-voltage systems is a plus* (e.g., fire alarm, access control, AV, Telecom/Data)
• Daily/Weekly check-ins to monitor project status with foreman

Technical Skills/Duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to-

• Installation of 3/4" & 1" Conduit; ability to bend conduit with hand bender
• Roughing in low-voltage cabling
• Terminating low voltage cabling in control panels
  
  

Physical Demands of the job will include but are not limited to-

• Climbing stairs, ladders, bending
• Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling equipment and materials
• Exposure to sun, heat, cold and rain
