What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patent Agent – Electrical/Computer Science Philadelphia position at Vanguard-IP?
REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Software/Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering with software emphasis (advanced technical degrees are a plus).
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Network Management, Mobile Communications, Cloud Computing and/or related technologies.
- Experience as a Patent Agent on work related to drafting/prosecuting patent applications relating to computer science/engineering, in technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and large language models is preferred.
- Registration to practice before the USPTO.
- Candidates who would fall under technical specialist and work to obtain a Patent Agent registration are welcomed to apply.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
