What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Sciences Patent Agent or Patent Associate position at Vanguard-IP?
REQUIREMENTS
-A strong scientific background and an advanced degree in the life sciences space:
(organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmaceutical science, etc.) is required
-Outstanding writing and analytical skills- they will request a writing sample for those who qualify
-USPTO registration is required
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in:
-Drafting patent applications, prosecuting patent applications in both US and foreign countries and territories
-Conducting patent landscape and freedom-to-operate searches
-Assisting IP due diligence in financing and partnering transactions
