Flex Security Officer Position OverviewWe are seeking reliable, adaptable, and professional Flex Security Officers to join our team on an as‑needed, on‑call basis. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety in their work and can step in quickly to support coverage needs when regular officers are unavailable or when temporary assignments arise. Flex Officers play a critical role in maintaining safety, security, and peace of mind for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide security coverage for open shifts, call‑offs, vacations, special events, and temporary assignments.Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity and promote a safe environment.Monitor premises through patrols, access control, and observation of CCTV systems (site‑dependent).Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms according to company protocols.Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures while delivering excellent customer service.Communicate effectively with site supervisors, dispatch, and management regarding availability and assignment updates.Adapt quickly to different client sites, environments, and post orders.QualificationsPrior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required (training provided).Ability to work a flexible, on‑call schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Strong communication, problem‑solving, and situational awareness skills.Professional appearance and demeanor.Must be dependable, punctual, and able to respond to last‑minute scheduling needs.Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods depending on assignment.Must meet all state licensing or certification requirements (if applicable).Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
