FRAME CAD

Position Summary: Responsible for designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Design product and modify existing frames per instruction of Product Development and/or Custom Quote Department.

Position Responsibilities:

· Design frameworks for a project.

· Ability to alter and modify existing frames to create custom sizes.

· Communicates information regarding new pieces and patterns to PD.

· Create detailed design documentation.

· Asks for information needed to perform job responsibilities.

· Create drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form.

· Produce final design specifications.

· Work with Machine Room CAD department to develop frame compatible with CNC Routers

Essential Skills and Experience:

· Knowledge of Excel and basic computer skills; general math skills.

· Be organized; Detail oriented

· Must be able to Analyze Information

· Dealing with Complexity

· Presentation Skills, good Verbal Communication, Written Communication

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:

· AS400 experience.

Physical demands and work environment:

· Lift / Carry: Frequently lifting less than 20 lbs.; occasionally lifting in excess of 35 lbs.; team lift greater

weights.

· Push / Pull: Frequently pushing or pulling fabric to/from/on workstation weighing less than 10

lbs.

· Sitting: Must be able to sit 7 hours. Must be able to sit continuously for majority of work

schedule.

· Reach / Handle / Grasp: Repetitive use of feet and hands required.

· Environment: Indoors, environmentally controlled; heated / air-conditioned. Also areas without

air conditioning.

· Tool usage: Measuring tape

· Vision: Color Determination, observation of patterns, fabric textures and dye tones for quality

control.

· Near Acuity: Requires close vision of less than 3 feet, with or without corrective lenses, for precision. · Standing: Must be able to stand up to 8 hours.
