What You’ll Do

- Accounts Payable data entry, three-way matching, statement review and record maintenance
- Weekly check run processing
- Credit card reconciliations, expense reports, return-to-vendor and credit memo tracking and coding
- Maintain manual PO records
- Assist with month end close processes
- Use of PC & office equipment
- Maintain other accounting records, files and reports
- Email and phone communication with suppliers
- Produce special reports using Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- Strong flexibility, able to multi-task and change directions
- Excel proficient; working knowledge of computer software – PC based accounting program experience
- Detail orientation, accuracy and thoroughness required
- Excellent internal and external communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write and communicate English
- Ability to understand and adhere to all Vanguard’s policies, processes and workplace guidelines
- Very organized with excellent time management skills
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Experience with Accounts Payable
- Other accounting and general office experience considered
