Customer Experience Center Manager - Printing Industry (Hands-on Role)

We’re Hiring: Hands-On Print Professional

Vanguard Digital is seeking a roll-up-your-sleeves leader to run daily operations in our Customer Experience Center (CEC). This is not a desk job. You’ll personally produce samples, operate equipment, maintain readiness, and deliver live demos that help our sales team close deals. You’ll also own the facility itself — vendor coordination, demo scheduling, supplies, general facility maintenance and cleanliness, and ensuring every customer visit is seamless.

What you’ll do:

• Operate and maintain Vanguard wide-format equipment daily
• Personally fulfill all sample and demo requests with speed and accuracy
• Perform color profiling, RIP configuration, calibration, and media management
• Run customer demos in person and virtually, with technical and sales confidence
• Conduct competitor product analysis and use that information to tailor our demos, highlighting the comparative advantages of purchasing a Vanguard printer
• Take ownership of facility operations: supplies, ordering, vendor relations, and upkeep
• Coordinate demo scheduling, visitor logistics, and travel accommodations
• Collaborate with Sales to tailor output to customer needs

What we’re looking for:

• 5 years in digital printing, wide-format, or PSP production
• Hands-on expertise in RIPs (Onyx, Caldera, etc.) and other prepress applications
• Proficient in material and media handling
• Understand and execute what is necessary to produce exceptional printed samples that showcase print quality
• Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to customers and on video
• Organized and detail-oriented; able to juggle production and coordination
• Self-starter with strong work ethic who takes pride in performing with excellence
• Urgent, proactive, and sales-minded — you know the demo room is part of the sales funnel
