Role Description
This is a freelance, remote-friendly role with occasional on-site work in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale area for in-person shoots and content creation. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about social media, creative storytelling, and keeping up with the latest trends.
The Social Media Manager & Content Creator will manage our social media accounts, create engaging videos and graphics, develop campaign-based content strategies, optimize our online presence, and write compelling copy for various platforms.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Shooting and editing short-form videos, including client testimonial videos.
- Creating graphics, banners, and branded visuals for posts.
- Developing social media strategies aligned with campaign plans.
- Scheduling and publishing posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Tracking performance metrics and optimizing content for engagement and lead generation.
- Staying on top of emerging social media trends and applying them to content strategies.
Qualifications
- Genuine passion for social media, trends, and digital storytelling.
- Proven experience in social media marketing and social media optimization (SMO).
- Strong portfolio showcasing video production/editing and graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Experience filming and editing client testimonial videos preferred.
- Ability to develop and execute content strategies tied to marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication and writing skills for social platforms.
- Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team.
- Based in South Florida and able to attend local shoots as needed.
- Experience in the financial or accounting industry is a plus.
- Background in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
